This October, NCWIN is doing something a little different.

Instead of a traditional speaker presentation, we’re bringing the conversation into the room with a fun, fast-paced, interactive experience focused on networking, relationships, referrals, and making connections that actually matter.

Our NCWIN Board and attendees will come together for a lively discussion filled with real-life networking scenarios, audience participation, practical ideas, and opportunities to connect with one another in the moment.

You’ll hear different perspectives, tackle a few “What Would You Do?” situations, and walk away with fresh ideas for building stronger relationships before, during, and after a networking event.

Whether you’re a longtime NCWIN member or joining us for the first time, come ready to participate, laugh, learn, and connect.

The Challenge

Networking isn’t about collecting the most business cards; it’s about building relationships.

At this luncheon, we’ll challenge everyone to:

Meet One person you haven’t connected with before.
Help One person by making an introduction, offering a resource, or finding another way to support her.
Follow Up With One person after the luncheon and keep the connection going.

Simple? Yes.

Potentially powerful? Absolutely.

What to Expect

This interactive NCWIN experience will include a quick audience icebreaker, a moderated conversation with members of the NCWIN Board, real-world networking scenarios, opportunities for audience participation, and plenty of time to make meaningful connections in the room.

The goal is simple: leave with at least one new relationship, one way you’ve helped someone else, and one connection worth continuing.

Take advantage of early-bird pricing! Members and guests who register and pay by midnight on the SECOND FRIDAY after the luncheon will save on registration and enjoy their choice of four delicious meal options.

Please note: registration will close at midnight on the SECOND FRIDAY after the luncheon to ensure accurate planning and catering.

Event Schedule

Regular check-in opens at 11:15 am
Networking begins at 11:30 am
Meeting starts promptly at 12:00 pm

Don’t forget to wear your name badge. (Pro tip: leave it in your glove box in your car!) It earns you an extra entry into the Opportunity Drawing!

Marketplace Table – includes table space and two minutes on the mic ($45)
Agenda Sponsorship – includes two minutes on the mic and printed recognition ($30)
Members-Only Table – A dedicated space for members to display business cards and flyers for extra exposure during the meeting.

Members and visitors can donate an item or gift certificate for our Opportunity Drawing — a fun way to support NCWIN and spotlight your business!

Suggested value: $25+ (think wine, seasonal gifts, small luxuries, hostess gift style)
Include a description with your name and business name
Your donation will be featured during the drawing with a personal shoutout

Please Note: Discounts for your own product or service are not accepted as donation items.

Bring your item early to give guests time to see it and drop in their tickets. Don’t wait until everyone’s already entered!

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made by the Wednesday before the event will receive a credit for a future luncheon.

We do not offer refunds for late cancellations or non-attendance.

By purchasing a ticket and attending this event, you grant North County Women In Networking (NCWIN) permission to photograph and/or record you during the event and to use such images or recordings for promotional purposes, including on our website, social media channels, and marketing materials.
